New Zealand Immigration Latest Updates, News and Guidelines

The IAA is now introducing a new online licensing system for immigration advisers, which will make it easier and faster for advisers to get licensed.

The Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) is responsible for issuing licenses to people who want to give New Zealand immigration advice and ensuring these advisers meet certain standards.

The online system will now allow the IAA to manage the licensing process more effectively and keep track of advisers’ compliance with the code of conduct.

The new system will be launched in early 2019. In the meantime, advisers can continue to apply for a license through the current paper-based process.

If you’re an immigration adviser or you’re thinking about becoming one, read on for more information about the new licensing system.

What’s Changing?

The biggest change is that the licensing process will be moving online. This will make it easier and faster for advisers to get licensed and will allow the IAA to manage the licensing process more effectively.

Advisers will still need to meet the same eligibility requirements to get a license, and they’ll still need to pass the Immigration Advisers Competency Exam.

However, the application process will be different. Instead of filling out a paper form, advisers will now need to complete an online form.

The online form will ask for the same information as the paper form, but it will be presented in a more user-friendly way. Advisers will also be able to save their progress and come back to the form later if they need to.

Once the online form is complete, advisers will need to submit it, along with the required supporting documentation, through the online system.

Advisers will then be able to track the progress of their application through the online system.

What Are The Benefits Of The New System?

The new online system will make it easier and faster for advisers to get licensed. It will also allow the IAA to manage the licensing process more effectively and keep track of advisers’ compliance with the code of conduct.

The online form will be easier to use than the paper form, and it will provide advisers with instant confirmation that their application has been received.

Advisers will also be able to track the progress of their application online, and they’ll be notified by email when a decision has been made.

What do I Need to do?

If you’re an adviser who is currently licensed, you don’t need to do anything. Your license will remain valid until it expires.

If you’re an adviser who is not currently licensed, you can start the application process by creating an account on the new online system.

Once you’ve created an account, you’ll be able to login and start the online application form.

If you have any questions about the new online system, or the licensing process in general, you can contact the IAA.
